Bounty Hunting Guide
Track, capture, and turn in bounty targets for silver and contribution
Bounty hunting is a rewarding side activity in Crimson Desert. Bounty targets are special NPCs that spawn in specific locations during certain in-game hours. You can capture them alive for full rewards or kill them for reduced payment. Capturing alive requires knocking the target out without killing them, then carrying them to a guard post. The bounty system rewards both silver coins and faction contribution points.
Blix
Nas Riverside, near Unicorn Cliff — crevice at the base of the cliff
6:00 - 13:00 (game time)
Usually appears around 8:00 AM game time
Won't spawn if you're standing nearby. Leave the area and return around 7:00 AM. If goblin bandits appear without Blix, rest at a bonfire for 6-12 hours. Must complete Hornsplitter boss quest first if started.
Blix is the naked goblin. Kill all other goblins first, then knock out Blix without killing him. Carry him and place on horse.
Guards outside the west gate of Hernand
- Blix only spawns between 6 AM and 1 PM game time
- Kite guards away and pick them off one at a time
- When only Blix remains, run away so he drops aggro
- Bringing him alive yields full reward (15 silver + 200 contribution)
How Bounty Hunting Works
Bounty targets spawn in fixed locations during specific in-game time windows. To find a target, travel to their spawn area during the correct hours. If the target doesn't appear, try resting at a nearby bonfire for 6-12 hours and returning. Some targets require you to complete prerequisite quests first. Once you find the target, you can either kill them for reduced rewards or knock them unconscious and carry them alive to the designated turn-in location. Alive captures always yield double the rewards of a kill. Place unconscious targets on your horse for easier transport.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I start bounty hunting?
- Bounty hunting becomes available as you explore the open world. Check bounty boards in towns or discover wanted targets in the wild. Each bounty has specific spawn conditions including time of day and location requirements.
- Should I capture bounties alive or dead?
- Always capture alive if possible — alive captures give double the silver and contribution compared to killing. To capture alive, defeat all accompanying enemies first, then knock out the target without killing them. Carry them to the turn-in location on your horse.
- Where do I turn in bounties?
- Each bounty has a designated turn-in location, typically guards stationed near the target's region. The turn-in point is listed in the bounty details. Carry the unconscious target to the guards to collect your reward.
