Instant fast travel points. Step on the stone plate to activate. No puzzle required.
Abyss Cresset
Puzzle-locked fast travel + Abyss Artifact reward. Found inside Ancient Ruins.
Strongbox
Locked treasure chests with rare loot. Each has a unique mechanical puzzle to solve.
Secret Place
Hidden areas with loot. Some require specific abilities unlocked through story progression.
Bounty Target
Wanted criminals to capture for Contribution EXP rewards. Check bounty boards for active targets.
Fishing Spot
Waterside locations where you can fish for ingredients used in cooking recipes.
Region Overview
Hernand
Chapters 1–4The starting region and largest area. Features rolling hills, farmlands, Hernand City, and the Howling Hill camp. Home to 6 Strongboxes and the Dragon Stone Chamber.
Demeniss
Chapters 4–6A coastal region with port towns, churches, and noble estates. Contains 6 Strongboxes and multiple Abyss Cresset puzzles along the cliffside.
Pailune
Chapters 6–7Mountainous terrain with dense forests and ancient ruins. Features 2 Strongboxes and challenging Abyss Restoration challenges on floating sky islands.
Arboria
Chapter 8The final region with a grand castle and the endgame Crimson Nightmare dungeon. Contains 1 Strongbox and high-level Secret Places.

Exploration Tips
- Use Blinding Flash from high ground (hilltops, bell towers) to scan for Mysterious Energy markers on the horizon. Blue light effects point toward undiscovered Abyss points.
- The minimap shows whether a target is above or below your current elevation — essential for finding cave entrances and cliff-face puzzles.
- Some Secret Places require abilities from later chapters. Mark their location and return when you have the required skill (e.g., Focused Force Palm from Chapter 4).
- Fast travel is disabled while mounted. Dismount your horse before attempting to teleport to an Abyss Nexus or Cresset.
- Equip a Mask before opening Strongboxes — their contents count as stolen goods. Masks can be bought cheaply from the Back Alley Shop in Hernand City.
- Finding all Secret Places unlocks the 'Pilgrim of Wonders' achievement. Track your progress in the Challenge menu under 'The Thread in the Forest'.

- Many locations are gated by story progression or specific abilities. If you see a location on the map but can't reach it, you likely need to progress further in the main story or learn a specific skill like Focused Force Palm (Chapter 4) or Blinding Light (Chapter 3).
