The DLC — What We Know

Pearl Abyss confirmed a DLC is in development with this statement: "We are also hard at work on an upcoming DLC for Crimson Desert, and while we cannot share the details just yet, we are preparing it as a meaningful addition to your journey." No name, release date, price, or content details have been announced, and it is not confirmed whether it will be free or paid.

What the media is speculating

Media reads: every post-launch update so far has been free, so some outlets expect the DLC could follow suit; others note Pearl Abyss deliberately separates the DLC from free roadmap updates, suggesting a paid expansion. Treat both as speculation until an official announcement.

Pearl Abyss's Delivery Track Record

Pearl Abyss has a strong delivery record: the first roadmap (announced April 9, 2026) promised boss rematches, difficulty modes, Re-Blockading, dedicated storage, bird and legendary pets, new Damiane & Oongka skills, and more — and shipped essentially all of it within about a month across updates 1.04–1.05, followed by roughly weekly patches. Of the second roadmap's items, one is fully live, three are partially live, and two are still to come as of July 20, 2026.

About This Roadmap Tracker

Pearl Abyss runs Crimson Desert on a roadmap cadence: a Dev Update announces the next quarter's content, then roughly weekly patches deliver it. The first roadmap (April 2026) was fully delivered within about a month. The second (June–September 2026) includes story improvements, new combat content, cross-save, Re-Blockade updates, character improvements for Damiane and Oongka, and a confirmed DLC with details still under wraps. This page tracks each item against the patches that actually shipped, so you can see what is live, partial, or still coming.
