Damiane's best value ranged weapon: 14 attack with a 2 crit rate, purchasable in Hernand or crafted at any Blacksmith. Against the Delesyia Shotgun's 16 attack, the musket wins whenever you cannot guarantee point-blank range — the crit bonus works at any distance, the shotgun's spread does not. Since both are cheap to obtain, the practical answer for Damiane players is to carry the musket as the default and swap to the shotgun for close-quarters fights.
