The first Abyss Gear-equipped weapon most players obtain. Its level 2 attack speed and Wind Slash ability make it a significant power spike in the early game, excellent for fast sword builds.
Field Notes
Dropped by Kailok the Hornsplitter in Chapter 2's The End of Greed — for most players, the first Abyss Gear-equipped weapon they ever hold. The level 2 attack speed is the highest sidearm speed bonus in our database, and the built-in Wind Slash gives Kliff a ranged option sidearms otherwise lack. Its 13 base attack ages out of the endgame, but the speed-plus-projectile package keeps it relevant deep into the mid-game. See our Kailok boss page for the fight that drops it.
