The Chapter 1 fight at the Goldleaf Guildhouse with the best reward-to-difficulty ratio in the early game: he drops the Sword of the Lord — the first Abyss Gear weapon most players own, with the highest attack-speed bonus of any sidearm we track — and teaches Evasive Roll. The fight itself is a parry check with one wrinkle: his follow-up counter after you block, which Force Palm shuts down. Sidestep the Wind Slash rather than blocking it, and if you are struggling, the third tip is the honest one — go buy better armor first.
