Cassius Morten appears at the conclusion of Chapter 6: Cracks in the Shield, at Calphade Castle in the Hernand region. A treacherous knight who brings havoc on the Calphadean territory. One-phase boss with 1 health bar who uses a shield — the first shield-using boss in the game. After execution, it's revealed his loyalty belonged to Basteri, the Grand General of Demeniss, exposing a massive conspiracy behind the Black Bears.
His defeat and execution reveal a deeper conspiracy connecting the Black Bears to Demeniss.

The Chapter 6 confrontation at Calphade Castle is an arena-usage lesson: Nature's Grasp on the pillars deals damage no direct attack can match, so the fight is mostly about positioning him near one while staying out of reach.
