Ludvig
Lore & Background
Ludvig is found inside Pailune Castle near the end of Chapter 7. He is a 2-phase boss with lightning damage attacks. After surviving the first encounter, he reappears as 'One-Armed Ludvig' at Kingshield Mountain, where players are forced to fight him as Oongka — marking the first time Oongka becomes playable.

Field Notes
Four phases — the longest fight in the game by phase count, and the tips read like a checklist of everything the combat system taught you: Lariat follow-ups for stagger, Nature's Snare to deflect the second phase's lightning, Blinding Flash to cancel his superarmor move, and lightning-resistance gear worn before you enter. Nothing here is optional; each phase checks a different tool. The Demenissian Grand General Plate Cloak, with the highest lightning resistance we track, is the single best preparation piece if you have finished the House Elemore questline.
